Fall Ball Development

We are excited to announce the details for our 2025 Fall Ball League (9U–14U). Please see below for important information about the league format, schedule, and participation.

 League Purpose

• Player development during the off-season
• Emphasis on skill building and game experience
• Opportunity for multi-age competition and growth
• Depending on registration numbers:
• Two games may be run by age groups
• If only one game, pitching and batter matchups will be preset to maximize at-bats and gameplay quality

Who Can Play

• Free for anyone who played with CICB this year
• $50 fee for players not registered with CICB in 2025
• Donations welcome – all proceeds will go directly to Mann Field improvements

Coaches Needed

We are looking for volunteer coaches to help run drills and facilitate games. If you coached this year, we would love your support in making Fall Ball a success!

Location:

Mann Field @ Athens Town Hall

Format & Schedule:

• Total Session Length: 3 hours
• 1.5 hours → Warm-ups & skill drills
• 1.5 hours → Controlled game play
• Day: Sundays

Date, Times and Notes:

Sept 7 - 12:00 – 3:00pm - Regular session

Sept 14 - 1:00 – 3:00pm - After tryouts - 13/14U only; no 9U–12U

Sept 21 - 3:00 – 6:00pm - Regular session

Sept 28 - 12:00 – 3:00pm - Regular session

Oct 5 - 12:00 – 3:00pm - Regular session

Oct 12 - 12:00 – 3:00pm - Tentative (Exact time - TBD)
